The Social Impact Award is an idea competition promoting Social Entrepreneurship among students. During submission period it offers free workshops to everyone interested in Social Entrepreneurship. These workshops help participants to find and structure their project ideas and gain insight into topics like design thinking and financing social start-ups.

The submission period 2011 ends on 29th of April – until then students of Austrian universities (or team with 50% students) are invited to hand in their project ideas to solve social challenges in an entrepreneurial way. All projects from social businesses to – for example – initiatives in civil society are welcomed. On 30rd of May the best projects will be awarded (summer) stipends consisting in € 4.000,- and a Unlitmited Hub membership during the summer months.
