Last year after an Africa trip I found a new solution to pump water out of water wells. I went with my wife to Tanzania to a Massai village in the south of the Kilimanjaro called Loiborsoit. There we made a survey for new water projects for the help organization “Life needs Water”. We visited different watering places where people fetched their drinking water. Most of them was hand pumps with a very little water flow. On one watering place with an installed windmill we made a rest. To this windmill went lots of people to fetch their water. More than 50 were waiting because the water flow was not very high and even the wind blows not very fast. Then the wind stops and no more water was coming out the water well.
From there I nearly broke my head to find any solution to help this people. I came to an idea and invent the NSP-Solar Pump especially for the use in rural and remote areas for the drinking water supply or irrigation.
2011 was a year with a lot of development and improvement of our prototype system. This December I am flying to Mozambique to install our first system in Africa – Mozambique for a help project of World Vision in Switzerland.
For 2012 we are planing to improve our marketing and promotion. To invent a product is the first big part but the marketing part is bigger, so now We are ready to go into the market with our new product!
