[External event] The Evolution of Organization in a Fundamentally Changing World

What does it take for organizations to become landing strips for a future we really want to live in?
In this workshop we will explore promising new insights on organization, based on research and practical experiences about already existing alternatives, The event is hosted by the EU-Project “LiFT – Leadership for Transition“ at it’s 3rd international event, this time in Vienna, Austria.
Friday, November 21st, Workshop, 13.30 – 18.00 h:
Meet three cutting edge thought leaders from the field and hear their inspiring perspectives:
Christian Felber, co-founder of Attac Austria and the the initiator of the “Economy for the Common Good” and the project “Bank for the Common Good”. He is an internationally renowned speaker, contemporary dancer, lecturer at the University of Economics Vienna and author of several bestsellers including: “50 Suggestions for a Fairer World”, “New Values for the Economy”, “Let’s save the Euro!”, “Change Everything: Creating an economy for the common good.” and “Money. The new rules of the game”.
Frederic Laloux, author of the groundbreaking book “Reinventing Organizations”. that discusses the emergence of a new management paradigm.  Frederic is Executive Advisor, Coach and Facilitator. He also works as a sparring partner with leaders who feel called to fundamentally transform their organizations in line with the ideas in the book.(Note: Frederic Laloux offers the download of his book here “for free and pay later what feels right for you”.)
Tom Thomison, partner at HolacracyOne, which he co-founded in 2007 to further develop Holacracy’s organizational practices for a global market. He is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 25 years of organizational and business experience. He has helped grow several startups and has founded four companies, one of which was sold in a public transaction. In addition to his direct business leadership, Tom has served as a board member and management consultant to small and medium sized businesses and has consulted to large public companies.
In this workshop you will get in contact and taste the flavor of this new way of organizing consciously along live-supporting principles. We will also be using these principles when designing the event.

With all the information, insights and reflections from the first day, we invite you to dive further into our topic.  Make closer contact with this emerging field, share experiences, thoughts and perspectives and see what answers our collective field creates around the guiding question:
What does it take for us as individuals and for the organizations we work in, to actively create a future we really want to live in?
Facilitated with the method of The Collaboratory, a co-creative stakeholder engagement process for solving complex problems (find the book here) we will work together in a spirit of openness and a space organized for collaboration to let inspiring answers and ideas emerge.
