Join in this exclusive second Skillshare Breakfast of the month which will be held by Alessandra Clará who is visiting us from Impact Hub DC and kindly offered to share her knowledge with Impact Hub Vienna community.
In this workshop you will learn the principles of design thinking, why it matters and how to apply it with practical tools and methodologies that can be used in our social impact work. It will be an interactive workshop with lots of exercises!
More about our presenter:
Alessandra is a social entrepreneur & design thinker, passionate about teaching and promoting the concept of Social Enterprises- using the power of business strategies to solve social problems. She is a partner at Strategic Good, a consulting and educational firm based in Washington DC. She is originally from El Salvador and has experience managing development projects in the field of education, women empowerment, poverty alleviation, ethical fashion, and immigration mainly across Latin America and the U.S. She has taught social entrepreneurship at Stanford and Georgetown University’s Summerfuel program for three years, and lead the Incubator program for LearnServe international in Washington DC. She has taught design thinking workshops for Hanes Brand Inc, CBC, INCAE Business School, Harvard University and in Impact Hub DC. Alessandra holds a Masters in Social Enterprise from American University and a B.S. in Business Management from Johns Hopkins University. She’s a member of Impact Hub in DC, and has traveled to 6 different Impact Hubs globally.
Skillshare is a mini-workshop event hosted by members of Impact Hub Vienna and Impact CoLab which aims to provide a platform for skill exchange among the members of the community on a crowdsourced (bring-your-own-breakfast) basis.
