WineDown: Tech4Good – Building Solutions to the World's Biggest Challenges

Over the past decade, technology has brought us everything from angry birds to iphones. We can now turn on all the lights in our home with the push of a button–from hundreds of miles away.

And while all this gadgetry is truly incredible, technology also has the potential to help us solve some of the world’s biggest challenges. We just have to understand how to harness its potential.
At this month’s community gathering, we’ll be talking about some of the ways technology and data are helping us reimagine solutions to issues like sustainable energy, hunger, health, elderly care, childhood development, and more.
A host of founders from our community will showcase their projects in an open venture fair, and participants will have the opportunity to hear from some of the leading startups and organizations in Vienna working to solve social challenges with the tools of the 21st century.

Participating startups and community organizations include:

One of the winners of last year’s Social Impact Award, and with an approved and currently still unchallenged patent, Tetragon is ready to take their product to the market.
