Shawn has dedicated the last 8 years of his career studying, exploring and building business models of the future. He’s spent the past year as interim Chief Innovation Officer for a startup in SF. There he helped build a model where organizations could measure innovation at the intersection of culture and strategy. Prior to that, he spent three years as a Sr. Strategist and Partner for a San Francisco-based experience and innovation strategy firm, Scansion. There he became an expert at applying design thinking to tackle complex organizational challenges ranging from M&A strategy to executive-level supply chain strategy. Prior to his time at Scansion he spent a decade working for two Fortune 500 companies in finance, design, and marketing. He holds an MBA in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts and a BSc. in Operations and Management Information Systems from Santa Clara University.
