UNIQA is intensely concerned with future trends and their implications on society. In the light of rising life expectancy, elderly people also require new ideas, products and services for a safer, better and longer life (maybe even until 120). Fundamental changes like a rising average age lead to the fact that we will be faced with disruptive innovations in health care and a growing influence through the silver economy in the coming years. As an insurance company, UNIQA is aware of its social responsibility and therefore supports people with suitable solutions via impact investment.

In order to attract a wide range of innovative solutions UNIQA wants to involve start-ups and entrepreneurs. Together with Impact Hub Vienna, UNIQA is running the Mission120 accelerator program. The program aims to identify and support the best ideas of entrepreneurs and start-ups in the prototype, proof of concept or running operations stage.

The program is tailored for startups working in:

  • Health care

  • Elderly care

  • Lifelong support

  • Future society
