Special Edition 2020
In this year’s edition, we are prototyping new program content elements around raising awareness on wellbeing and the mental health of founders and we are providing support to increase the resilience of the Re:Wien cohort and decrease the burn-out risk that is especially high amongst social entrepreneurs. We are enabled by the support of Hil Foundation to offer this pilot on “wellbeing for social entrepreneurs
We have received a great network and valuable contacts by participating in the RE:WIEN. Taking part in the program was definitely worth it!Cosimo Lippe Founder, Sud & Satz
My team and I are proud to be part of the funding program RE:WIEN. The support from the professional coaches, the different workshops and the exchange with the other participants was extremely helpful. Our project got a lot of constructive feedback with which we could develop new approaches.Alexander Kampfhammer Co-founder, VALUE
RE:WIEN is a great opportunity to push your project or venture in your own pace. What I particularly liked was the flexibility of the program. This makes sure that you get support exactly where you need it.Nadine Moser Founder, i trau mi
“Privilege is invisible to those who have it” – Inspired by Michael Kimmel, Hil-Foundation supports underprivileged population groups in leading a self-determined life. In cooperation with non-profit organizations Hil-Foundation co-creates programs that promote equal opportunities particularly for children and youth, all genders and sexual miniorities as well as people with mental impairments. Another focus area is building awareness for the crucial role of resilience, wellbeing and selfcare among social entrepreneurs. In order to sensitize founders at an early stage, Hil-Foundation works on integrating those topics in start-up accelerators such as RE:WIEN and Social Impact Award.
OekoBusiness Wien was launched in 1998 by the Municipal Department for Environmental Protection on behalf of the Vienna City Administration, with the purpose to help enterprises generate "green and clean" profits through ecological management practices that benefit both the environment and the enterprises, ensuring high quality and financial benefits in each company. OekoBusiness Wien offers a number of different program modules for large and small enterprises in a variety of industries. Due to professional support, workshops and access to relevant grants the aim of OekoBusiness Wien to improve the competitive position of Viennese businesses through more efficient use of resources (making full use of innovative potentials and cost saving opportunities), sustaining employment over the medium term, could be achieved.
