Finding new and innovative paths to integration

In cooperation with Impact Hub Vienna, the Deloitte Future Fund had been supporting socially oriented startups since 2016 through targeted workshops, mentorship, and professional advice under the umbrella of the found! program. This initiative successfully created numerous jobs and improved job market opportunities for refugees in Austria. Each year, as new editions of found! launched, the business models of all program participants were aligned with this purpose.

“Our finalists were committed to a common goal: promoting the successful integration of refugees into the domestic job market. The importance of this topic remained as relevant as ever, and we were proud to make a valuable contribution in this area,” said Bernhard Gröhs, CEO of Deloitte Austria.

Ventures were accompanied by experts from Deloitte and Impact Hub Vienna throughout a 5-month incubation phase, during which intensive efforts were made to optimise their business models. At the conclusion of the program, an expert jury selected the two most promising startups, providing them with additional financial support and pro bono consulting.
