Empowering Sustainable Innovation in the Kalkalpen Region

Vielfalter was a startup accelerator program supported by Impact Hub Vienna, Nationalpark Kalkalpen, WKO-Steyr, Regionalmanagement OÖ and the Leader Regionen Nationalpark Kalkalpen and Traun4tler Voralpen . This program sought innovative entrepreneurial ideas in areas like ecological agriculture, sustainable tourism, food, health, and wood, with the goal of benefiting the Kalkalpen National Park region and making creative use of its natural resources.

Participants received tailored support through business acceleration, learning about impact modeling, financial planning, and sales strategies.

The participants took part in a five-month start-up program at the end of which they had the chance to receive start-up capital totaling €18,000. The first prize of €8,000 was awarded to Obstraupe by the Blühendes Österreich Foundation to a business solution that creates a high ecological and nature conservation benefit for the national park and the region.
