How might we integrate Alpine wool for local supply chains?
We believe wool can be reimagined as a strategic bio-based material that fuels circular economies in the Alpine region. By reviving traditional sheep farming practices and integrating waste wool into valuable local production chains, we can support biodiversity, sustain cultural landscapes, and help the creation of new products and services.
design marathon
Join the Woolshed Design Marathon in Vienna and collaborate with innovators, entrepreneurs, and experts to develop new ideas for local wool beyond traditional use. In just one day, you’ll work hands-on, tackle real challenges, and turn insights into tangible concepts. Selected teams will be invited to a deep dive in Steiermark to develop their ideas into functional prototypes.
