This workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of game theory and acquaint them with the dynamics of the prisoner’s dilemma as a framework for analyzing and reasoning about strategic actions and decision-making in negotiations.

The second half of the workshop includes a high-pace, iterated “pricing war” simulation where participants collaborate in teams to make strategic pricing decisions over multiple rounds. This exercise highlights the impact of cooperation, competition, and long-term strategies on negotiation outcomes. The session includes a debrief to connect theory to practice and ensure participants leave with actionable insights.
