Challenge: How can we create greener, healthier urban spaces that benefit both nature and people?

This includes ideas that:

Enhance green spaces for both nature and people;

Your Task: Come up with ideas that improve Vienna’s urban ecosystem, supporting the health of both nature and the city’s residents.

Adaptation to Climate Change

Challenge: How can we make Vienna more resilient to climate change and reduce the impact of extreme heat?

This includes ideas that:

Challenge: How can we transform Vienna into a zero-waste city where resources are reused instead of wasted?

Minimize waste through recycling and resource regeneration;
Develop closed-loop systems for sustainable material use;
Rethink waste management and consumption patterns;
Support Vienna’s transition to a zero-waste, regenerative city.

Your Task: Share innovative ideas that help Vienna operate within planetary boundaries and build a waste-free future.

HOW IT WORKS

Apply: Spend 5 minutes filling the idea registration form. We will review it and will get back to you before the 21st of October 2024 with a Bootcamp invitation.
Bootcamp: This two-day intensive event is packed with inspiration, feedback, and hands-on support. Develop your idea into a strong canvas focusing on Impact, Business, and Team. You’ll receive real-time feedback from industry experts and network with city officials, partners, and past participants.
Decision: Following the Bootcamp, we will invite 10 participants to the acceleration process. It’s time to grow your idea and build a venture!
